The Foundation, established in 2005, is run by a volunteer board of directors. The Foundation serves to raise funds for scholarship and educational initiatives that otherwise are not offered by the Eastern School District.
The Foundation relies on the generous support of the Eastern School District teaching and support staff, community organizations, local businesses and the general public to support its fundraising initiatives.

Objectives:
- Secure donations and sponsorships to support dynamic learning opportunities for students.
- Provide scholarships for post secondary education.
- Provide enrichment opportunities for students.
- Promote the value of education.
